Denny Ginko, LMT, CRT
I'm glad you're here! Helping people has been a natural part of my life since childhood; helping people suffering from pain, bringing them relief and healing, has brought even deeper reward in the form of providing conscious, comprehensive bodywork. I am grateful to have found a way to earn a living doing something that I truly love. This has allowed me to balance and integrate mind, body and spirit. This balanced energy is prominent in my service and the result: the wellness of my client. I consult with each client individually to assist with their unique needs of the day as well as any long-term concerns they may share.
My experience has been somewhat unusual and in many ways has evolved beyond anything I would have imagined. Since graduating from Blue Sky School of Massage in 1996, I have worked across 49 states, Canada, the Bahamas and Europe, providing therapeutic massage to thousands of people. Many are internationally famous touring musicians and their crews, including Art Garfunkel, Beck, No Doubt, Natalie Merchant, Matchbox 20, Primus, Pepper, Neville Brothers, Incubus, Tori Amos, and Matisyahu. For the past 14 years, I have traveled twenty-six national tours as the personal Massage Therapist for the band 311. Additionally, I provide on-site corporate massage and have several on-going commissions with casts and crews of off-Broadway productions including Sesame Street Live, Cats, Barney Live, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Madagascar Live, Legally Blonde, War Horse, (Cameron Mackintosh’s new) Phantom of The Opera, and more.
II continue to explore and expand within my field with a combination of intuition and intellect. In 2001, I earned an Applied Science degree and state license in Respiratory Therapy. I have also been featured in Massage Magazine, (Sep. 2009), and have established massage equipment endorsements: Oakworks Medical, Massage & Spa Equipment, and Teeter Hang-Ups Inversion Tables.
Healing often has many highs and lows; maintaining a healthy perspective requires us to be well-informed, open, proactive, conscious creatures. If you are ready, on your own terms, to confront the aches, pains and stiffness that take you out of the moments in your life, or would simply like to feel more energized and clear, more aligned with gravity, with easier and lighter feeling body movement, it would be my honor to help guide and facilitate you. We do this work together. I'm not at all about cucumbers over the eyes and an expensive 'lotioning' job. I'm here to help people go deep within themselves for their own answers in their own healing.
Other interests I have include playing guitar, fishing, folk art, woodworking, gardening, cooking, photography, dogs, and being with my family. Nature is my church.
